Driver Remains In Critical Condition Following Friday Accident

A 22-year-old man remains in critical condition Monday after an accident late last week.

Lubbock Police say Joshua Brackens lost control of his Mustang Friday night around 9pm. Police say he overcorrected, and hit a telephone pole.

The jaws of life were used to free Brackens from the car and he was taken to University Medical Center.

The two passengers in his car were treated and released.
