$10 Could Save Your Life

A $10 bargain could literally save your life. The City of Lubbock Health Department is offering 600 flu shots for high-risk adults this Friday afternoon from 2:00-5:00 p.m. at the City of Lubbock Health Clinic which is located at 19th St. and Texas.

It's $10 a person and Medicare will be accepted if you're age 50 or older or if you have a high risk illness like asthma or diabetes, kidney trouble, or any immuno-deficiency.

Remember you cannot get a flu shot if you are allergic to eggs, if you've had a previous reaction to the vaccine, or if you have a fever.
