The Olympic Flame for the Sochi Winter Games was lit in Greece during an elaborate ceremony Sunday morning.
A Greek actress, playing the part of high priestess, used a mirror reflecting the sun's rays to light the flame in the Temple of Hera at Ancient Olympia. She then gave the flame over to Greek skier Giannis Antoniou.
After a short time, Antoniou then gave the flame to Russian hockey star Alexander Ovechkin.
Now the flame will make a seven day trip across Greece through 27 cities to reach its final destination, Russia. The Sochi Games will begin in 132 days.
