Friends and family gathered yesterday to honor a victim of the Navy Yard shootings.
Mourners remembered Sylvia Frasier as a kind and loyal friend who left behind a legacy of love.
The 53-year-old was a network security administrator at the Naval Sea Systems Command Headquarters. Frasier was one of 12 victims gunned down by Aaron Alexis earlier this month.
Frasier's brother, Bobbe Fraiser, said Sylvia was a wonderful person and will be missed.
"I'll remember that Sylvia was a very loving, caring person," he said. "She demonstrated her love in a very ostensible way, so it let people know that she lived it. She didn't just talk it, she walked the walk. She gave it to everybody - everybody she encountered."
People that attended the funeral said they wanted to remember the way that frasier lived rather than the way that she died.
