United Supermarkets, LLC (http://www.unitedtexas.com) today announced Pink Tuesdays, this year's fundraising promotion to help support breast cancer research and awareness. On Tuesdays during October, United will donate $1 for every guest wearing pink who makes a purchase of $10 or more, up to a maximum $25,000 donation for the month.
In addition, guests can purchase pink reusable shopping bags for $2 each, with $1 from each sale also going to the cause.
"Each year, we team up with guests to raise awareness and funds to help fight breast cancer and work toward a cure," said Shelby Crews, community relations manager for United Supermarkets, LLC. "Breast cancer has affected every community we serve, and we are proud to take a stand this October to help educate and empower women and men to take charge of their own breast health."
Participating stores include all 50 locations of United Supermarkets (http://unitedsupermarkets.com), Market Street (http://www.marketstreetunited.com/westtexas/) and Amigos (http://www.amigosunited.com/) across north and west Texas.
