Longview business fire extinguished, no injuries reported

LONGVIEW, TX (KLTV) - Longview Fire Department responded to a fire at American Railcar Industries located at 300 Stevens Street just after 11 a.m. Monday.

A filter collection unit at the plant caught fire but was quickly extinguished.

No injuries have been reported and employees are now being allowed to return to work.

American Railcar Industries is a national railroad manufacturing company with several locations throughout the United States. The Longview plant specializes in tank repairs, interior linings, exterior paint, and hopper repairs.
