Pregnancy, infant loss awareness ceremony scheduled for Tuesday

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness in Lubbock will be hosting a candle lighting ceremony starting at 6:45 p.m. at McCullough Park at 88th and Flint on Tuesday, Oct. 15.

The ceremony is to honor the families suffering from pregnancy and infant loss.

In October 1988, President Ronald Reagan proclaimed October as National Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Month.

October 15 serves as Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Day.
