Whiteface Now Has Cleaner Drinking Water

A South Plains School District now has cleaner drinking water thanks to a non-profit group.

Tuesday, "Purity For A Child's Journey" helped install new water purification filters in all the schools in Whiteface. The town of about 450 people is located 45 miles West of Lubbock.

The foundation was started by a cancer survivor and previously provided the district with bottled water.
