Electric Utility Board will recommend 3 names to council

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

The Lubbock Electric Utility Board met Wednesday to discuss several matters involving LP&L.

They selected three people to be recommended to the City Council to fill their empty seat. after the city voted last month to remove Dwight McDonald from the board, citing his part time job at the Municipal Court.

They will recommend Lubbock CPA Greg Taylor, Lubbock Medical Association Business Manager Stephanie Hill, and Vista Bank Loan Officer James Conwright.

The board voted to table the issue of whether city council members should be allowed in closed sessions and they recommended the reappointment of four existing members to the board.
