Discredited Undercover Agent To Go To Trial In Lubbock

The perjury trial of discredited undercover agent Tom Coleman will now take place in Lubbock.

Coleman was the man at the center of the 1999 Tulia drug busts. On Wednesday a judge moved the trial from Swisher County, saying he didn't believe Coleman could get a fair trial there.

46 people were arrested during the busts, but last year Governor Rick Perry pardoned 35 of those convicted.

Coleman is accused of lying under oath last year, during a hearing to determine if four men received fair trials. His trial is scheduled for mid-January.
