Lubbock Worksource Unit Receives National Award

They've served our country, now, veterans are finding it easier to get jobs in Lubbock, thanks to Worksource.

The Worksource Veteran's Employment Unit of Lubbock received the National Employment Services Office award in a ceremony at the Lubbock Area Veterans War Memorial on Thursday. Two outreach specialists, Steve Brooks and Don Collins were also recognized for their efforts to help veterans find jobs.

Worksource was one of 50 agencies nominated for the award.
