City offers vaccination clinics for week of October 21

The City of Lubbock Health Department will hold vaccination clinics for both adults and children at the following locations during the week of October 21, 2013:

  • 10/21/2013 Mahon Library 1306 9th St. 9:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.
  • 10/23 /2013 Health Department 806 18th St. 8:30 a.m. – Noon
  • 10/24/2013 Groves Library 5520 19th St. 1:00 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.

Vaccines will be available for ages 2 months through adulthood. Adult vaccine prices vary. The cost for children's vaccines (age 2 months -18 years) is $15.00 for one dose of vaccine or $20.00 for 2 or more. Influenza vaccine is now available.

All children must meet Texas Department of State Health Services' guidelines to receive state supplied vaccines.

Anyone with questions may contact the City of Lubbock Health Department Immunization clinic at 775-3090.
