LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

The sexual assault trial of former Lubbock police officer Jason Hignight has been postponed once again.

Jury selection of the trial was scheduled to take place Monday morning.

Hignight, 34, was indicted in February of 2011 on two counts of sexual assault of a child.

Prosecutors say he sexually assaulted his adopted daughters, who were 12 and 16 at the time.

Hignight was also indicted in March 2011 in a separate case after a woman came forward claiming that he raped her in 2007.
