HAWKINS, TX (KLTV) -

A Kilgore man wanted for robbing an East Texas bank on Tuesday afternoon has been spotted in another city.

Kilgore police were preparing to move in on a location where they believed Randall Wikert was staying when Wikert spotted Hawkins authorities and ran on foot.

Police say that he was wearing blue jeans, a gray hoodie, and a blue T-shirt, but was not wearing the hat that he was last seen wearing. He was seen running away from the Hawkins City Park.

Kilgore police say that people in that area should be cautious. Wikert should be considered dangerous.

A KLTV 7 viewer tells us that police have told residents in that area to get off the streets, and into their homes. We're also told that a search helicopter is in the air over Hawkins right now.
