More than 3,400 people were expected to attend the morning race. It included a 1-mile and 5k walk-run. The money raised will go toward breast cancer research and education.
By the way, the Komen Foundation recommends all women have yearly mammograms starting at age 40. Women 20 and older should perform monthly breast exams.
