Early morning house fire under investigation

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

The Lubbock Fire Marshal's Office is investigating an early morning house fire in east Lubbock.

Neighbors reported the fire in the 300 block of 44th Street around 3:30 a.m. Tuesday.

Firefighters arrived at the scene and put out the flames within 30 minutes. 

One person is displaced due to the fire. There is reported smoke damage throughout the house and fire damage was contained to one room. 

There were no injuries.

The Lubbock Fire Marshal's Office is investigating the cause of the fire.
