Kingsbury and United to kickoff Toys for Tots campaign

United Supermarkets will kick off the annual Toys for Tots campaign on Wednesday, Oct. 30, at 2 p.m.

The event will be held at the former United Supermarkets location near the corner of 29th Drive and Marsha Sharp Freeway. The former location will also serve as the toy drop-off and distribution headquarters for this year's drive.

Texas Tech Head Football Coach, Kliff Kingsbury, will be in attendance to donate the first toy.

United will be presenting a $2,500 check to Toys for Tots.
