Consider This...South Plains Workforce a leader in its field

I read a story at kcbd.com that was very encouraging.

The South Plains Workforce hosted a huge career fair Thursday aimed at showcasing different career options. Thousands of high school students from 59 school districts from across the state were given valuable information, and not just information about what career they might want to pursue, but what type of education could best get them there.

But there is also another byproduct of an event like this. It puts Lubbock front and center as a place to start your career. Lubbock has always struggled with the perception that college graduates have to move away to start a career, and that's simply not the case.

Consider This:

I applaud the South Plains Workforce for taking the lead on helping high school students choose the best career path. I also commend them for exposing those students to this great community and the opportunities it may hold for their future.
