LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

Red Raider Head Football Coach Kliff Kingsbury met his double on Friday, a young boy who put on some stubble and a pair of shades and started a Facebook phenomenon.

A Lubbock Christian student named Cole Daniel dressed up as Kingsbury for a fall festival last week and was captured in a photo that has been seen all over the country.

He also started a trend here in Lubbock, as dozens of local parents dressed their kids in sunglasses and stubble for Halloween.

When asked about Cole's costume on this week's Kliff Notes, Kingsbury was clearly impressed.

"He nailed it," Kingsbury said. "That's a great look. I hope he wins some sort of contest. He did a good job and it's pretty detailed."

Kingsbury didn't really like the stubble look on the bobblehead, but he thought Cole pulled it off.

"Made more sense on a life-like figure," he said.

Cole, son of Mark Edward Daniel and Amelia Stemen Daniel, got to meet his hero on Friday, and left with tickets to this week's sold-out game vs. Oklahoma State.
