One man from Spur is adding pink accents to the Spur High School football field to leave a big message.
Christopher Barron painted the hash marks on the field earlier this month, and after good feedback from the community and school, Barron got the okay to paint the yard marker numbers pink too.
The markings have a special meaning for Barron. He lost his sister to breast cancer, and also discovered a lump on himself.
The lump was not cancerous, but Barron said it served as a reminder that men can also be diagnosed with breast cancer.
