Aspirin Increases Prostate Patients' Life Expectancy

You've heard of aspirin for heart health. Now, after following more than 1,200 men undergoing radiation for prostate cancer, researchers have decided regular aspirin and other pain relievers may help prostate cancer patients live longer.

The study at Fox Chase Cancer Center found that men who regularly used aspirin and other pain relievers, like Ibuprofen, were more likely than others to survive 10 years with the disease, and their cancer was slower to spread.

The study was presented on Monday in Atlanta at a meeting of the American Society for Therapeutic Radiology and Oncology.
