The Lubbock Electric Utility Board will be holding a special meeting to discuss LP&L at 2 p.m. Monday in the Lubbock Power and Light Basement Conference Room A at 1302 Broadway.
The meeting comes in light of recent controversy involving LP&L and Marc McDougal's explosive press conference on Thursday, Oct. 31.
McDougal called for the new LP&L expansion to be put to a halt and said that Dr. Gary Zheng's, CEO of LP&L, employment on The Electric Utility Board would be discussed.
The employment of Todd Kimbough, who was hired by LP&L as General Counsel in September, will also be on the agenda.
The EUB will attempt to discuss modification of the LP&L Tariff and discuss action in regards to an investigation of concerns raised by McDougal and Mayor Robertson.
