Operation Hope

Posted: Updated:

Don't forget, this Friday, November 8th, you can enjoy an evening with Anthony Kearns, an internationally known Irish tenor, who will be performing in Lubbock to support several fundraising efforts.

This includes the South Plains Honor Flight, an effort to help send area veterans to see their war memorials in Washington, but also, Operation Hope, a Lubbock non-profit that empowers the disadvantaged.

"In Haiti, we feed 1,500 kids a day, one meal a day. All we ask is that they go to school. We just want to be the hand and feet of Christ in whatever we do. And our goal is to help out, if it's honor flight, locally mentoring, feeding hungry people of Lubbock, and doing medical missions around the world. That's what we do."

So, if you'd like to help, and enjoy a great night of music, Anthony Kearns is set to bring some magic to the City Bank Auditorium this Friday, November 8th.

Tickets are available, starting at $25 though select-a-seat.
