One in custody after overnight police chase

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

One person is in custody after an overnight police chase in southwest Lubbock.

Police responded to a domestic disturbance around 11:30 p.m. Wednesday night in the 6700 block of 86th Street.

When officers arrived, 19-year-old Lindsey Jennings backed into a police vehicle and then fled the scene in a stolen vehicle.

Police pursued Jennings until she hit another car at 81st and Slide.

No one was seriously injured during the chase.

Police say Jennings will face charges including public intoxication, evading arrest, aggravated assault on a police officer and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.
