Recent rainfall means lots of dirty cars on Lubbock streets.
NewsChannel 11 visited local car washes Tuesday and found that, as you might expect, business is slow. For example, Crystal Falls Car Wash at Quaker and South Loop 289 serves 278 customers on a typical day. With recent rains, they're washing an average of just seven vehicles each day.
"It slows us down and basically it just kills us," said Crystal Falls Store Manager, Mike Reid.
So, you may want to hold off on that car wash until the weekend, since John Robison's 7-Day Forecast is calling for rain through Friday.
