Medical Examiner Confirms Identity of Body Found in Lamesa

The Lubbock Medical Examiner has confirmed the identity of a man found dead in Lamesa two weeks ago.

Autopsy reports confirm the man is Pedro Edward Garcia. The medical examiner is still trying to determine a cause of death. Garcia's decomposed body was found in a vacant lot in the 500 Block of SouthEast First Street in Lamesa, September 21st. He had been missing for more than three weeks.

So far police are investigating the case as a suspicious death.
