78-Year-Old Man Killed While Crossing 50th Street - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

For the second night in a row, a pedestrian has been killed by a motorist on a Lubbock street.

With orange spray paint, investigators pin point the exact location 78-year-old Ervie Robinson Jr. was hit by a truck. It happened in the 2100 Block of 50th Street around 5pm Tuesday afternoon. Robinson was taken to University Medical Center where he died.

Following a preliminary investigation, Lubbock Police say Robinson failed to yield the right of way to the vehicle.
