Collie Willard was indicted by a Lubbock Grand Jury on Tuesday for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
Willard is accused of stabbing Chris Solis at a party in August of 2003. At the time, Willard was supposed to have been in jail. He had been accidentally released due to a clerical error, for which the Sheriff's Department took full responsibility.
Willard will also go to trial for another stabbing that happened on the same night, however that one resulted in the death of Roberto Esquivel.
