Repairs to begin on westbound Marsha Sharp Freeway Monday

Provided by the Texas Department of Transportation

Beginning Monday, Nov. 11, the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) will reduce a segment of the westbound Marsha Sharp Freeway at Quaker Avenue to one-lane of traffic.

The left-lane and shoulder will be closed to traffic to allow crews to safely make concrete repairs.

Motorists should expect delays and are asked to drive with caution through the work zone for their safety and the safety of the workers.

Repairs are expected to take two to three weeks to complete, weather permitting.
