Imagine Lubbock announces plans to rebuild parts of Lubbock

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

Imagine Lubbock announced plans to begin rebuilding parts of Lubbock at a press conference at 10 a.m. Wednesday.

The areas that the people of Lubbock and Imagine Lubbock have selected for redevelopment are:

  • arts and culture
  • basic and fundamental services
  • beautification and image.

Imagine Lubbock is also focusing on economic development, education, entertainment and recreation and neighborhoods.

Some of the projects have already began and others are expected to begin soon.

Connie Wharton with Imagine Lubbock says that people in Lubbock can expect to see a big difference.
