Four people displaced by house fire

Posted: Updated:

Four people have been displaced from their home after a fire at 2625 26th St. at 5:30 a.m. on Saturday morning.

Six units from Lubbock Fire Rescue responded to the call to find a fire in the rear of the building.

The fire was mostly limited to the exterior of the building. The cause has been attributed to a chiminea on the back porch.

The four women who lived in the house were displaced, but no one was injured.

A house to the east also sustained exposed fire damage, but there were no injuries.
