COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) - South Carolina coach Steve Spurrier says he isn't resting anyone healthy for this week's game against Coastal Carolina.

But he will tinker with the No. 12 Gamecocks' lineup. Sophomore tailback Shon Carson will get his first start as Southeastern Conference leading rusher Mike Davis recovers from an ankle sprain. Spurrier says Davis may be in uniform Saturday, but could use the extra rest.

Spurrier also has told backup quarterback Dylan Thompson he will get some snaps. Spurrier says he thinks starter Connor Shaw plays better when he knows his backup will get some playing time.

Spurrier says anything is possible and the Gamecocks can lose if they don't play well. But his record doesn't reflect that. Spurrier is 47-0 against teams outside the BCS in his 24 years coaching.

With offenses becoming increasingly explosive, plugging the holes is more imperative than ever. It's no surprise Alabama and Florida top the list, but the rest of the rankings may surprise you.
