They're in nursing school and already they've learned the value of protecting your heart. This is something Covenant's Student Nursing Association wants to share with you, that's why they've organized a free health fair for Saturday morning. Especially if you've had some health concerns, here's your chance to get your "vitals checked" for free.
"I just feel that women's health is a major issue right now especially with cardiac problems and cardiac problems being the main cause in women's deaths and just bringing about awareness will hopefully save people's lives," says Katy Sexton, a senior nursing student at Covenant.
It's called the "Cast Your Vote for a Healthy Heart" Health Fair. Saturday at Covenant School of Nursing there will be free screenings for bone density, body mass index, blood pressure, oxygen level and even neuropathy, which is a test for healthy feet. It's free, but you do need a reservation. Just call 1-866-6WOMENS.
