Southwest Airlines Offers Seniors Chance to Flight Home Free

Southwest Airlines wants to give senior citizens the best gift of all this holiday season--a free trip home.

Southwest kicked off its annual "Home for the Holidays" event Thursday. The program allows seniors, ages 65 and older to win a complimentary ticket.

To apply, you need to fill out an application, detailing economic needs and reasons why you would like to fly home for the holidays. You can pick up those applications at the City Parks and Recreation Department at 1010 9th St and they must be turned in by November 8th.

Winners will be announced December 1st.
