In Idalou, farmers are turning a field of pumpkins into a "healing field" of sorts.

Sixty area farmers, friends and volunteers spent four hours harvesting muddy pumpkins out of Tom Harrington's field. Harrington is a farmer who was diagnosed with cancer, three weeks ago.

Friend and fellow farmer Keith Grayson says this is just a way to help out a friend and show his family they care.
