Ramp closure scheduled for Marsha Sharp Freeway

WHAT: Marsha Sharp Freeway (MSF) on-ramp closure

WHEN: beginning Monday, December 2

WHERE: Westbound 19th Street on-ramp to MSF

EVENT: Beginning tomorrow, December 2, the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) will close the westbound 19th Street on-ramp to the MSF to traffic. The closure will allow crews to safely set barricades and then make repairs to the roadway.

Westbound 19th Street motorists will continue on 19th Street to southbound Quaker Avenue to connect with the freeway. Message boards alerting motorists to the closure are in place.

Repair work is expected to take four weeks to complete; weather permitting. O. Trevino, of Roanoke, TX, is the project contractor.
