JCPS and other schools closed Tuesday

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - Jefferson County Public Schools are closed Tuesday morning.

JCPS officials made the decision to close around 7:15 a.m. Tuesday.

Also, the superintendent of Jefferson County Catholic Schools said they are closed Tuesday.

Both schools upgraded to a closed status after calling a two hour delay earlier Tuesday morning. Officials said the snow accumulation and deteriorating road conditions changed their initial decision.
