A 44-year-old woman was been arrested after a shooting in the Metro Center area Friday night.
Police say her son got into a fight with a 30-year-old woman.
The victim left the residence on 24th Avenue North after the altercation and returned a few minutes later.
As the woman approached the home, the suspect shot her in the leg.
The victim was transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.
The suspect was taken into police custody.
The investigation is ongoing.
