Early Sunday electric crews across middle Tennessee were trying to restore power to homes and businesses after a severe thunderstorm.
Outages were reported in several counties as the storm moved across the area Saturday night.
At one point, more than 9,000 electric customers in the Nashville area were in the dark.
As of 7 a.m. Sunday morning, crews had restored power to all but 1,200 homes and businesses.
According to a damage report from the National Weather Service, there was widespread damage to trees.
In Dover, a roof was blown off of a home on Frank Earhart Road, according to the report.
The report also states that a plane was blown into another aircraft at the Smyrna Airport.
In Lawrenceburg, a family was forced out of their home when a tree crashed down on the roof.
Firefighters tell Channel 4 News that no one was injured.
