An area high school student decided she wanted to give more than she received for Christmas this year.
16-year-old Ralls freshman, Sierra Arthur, saved all of her Christmas money and bought necessities for the men and women of Tent City who brave the cold every night.
Arthur handed out 61 bags that contained a t-shirt, a hat, gloves, a razor, a candy cane, and a razor on Monday, Dec. 23.
"I just thought that they should have stuff, and I wanted to make them happy and give them something," said Arthur.
