Raider Red finishes 2nd in the 2013 Capital One Mascot Challenge

The winner of the 2013 Capital One Mascot Challenge was announced today at the Capital One Bowl game in Orlando, Fla. University of South Florida's Rocky the Bull had an undefeated record leading to his first Mascot of the Year title.

After winning the competition in 2012, Raider Red finished in second place in the overall standings. He was 9-3 in the Regular Season and 2-1 in the Playoffs losing to Rocky the Bull in the final round. The standings page can be accessed here: http://capitalonebowl.com/#/standings

This is the 12th year of the annual Capital One Mascot Challenge where 16 college mascots compete in weekly voting challenges to be named Mascot of the Year and earn $20,000 toward its school's mascot program.
