An armed robbery suspect is behind bars after police say he held up a Lubbock convenience store.

25-year-old Billy Miller is charged with aggravated robbery and evading arrest.

Police say he walked into the Stripes near Clovis Road and Ave. U at 11 p.m. Friday night. He showed a black handgun and demanded money.

The victim was able to give the 911 operators the suspect's vehicle information and responding officers quickly located the suspect.

Miller gave chase and eventually fled on foot, but was taken into custody. Police say he had evidence on him from the robbery at the time of the arrest.

His bond is set at over $100,000.
