Police seeking Lowe's Market Place robbery suspect

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

Lubbock Police responded to a robbery at Lowe's Market Place at 2706 26th Street around 6 a.m. Monday morning.

Police say a man walked up and pointed a gun at the store manager as he was unlocking the front doors.

Once inside, the suspect demanded money and struck the manager over the head, causing a minor injury, and fled with the money.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic male in his late 20s to early 30s wearing a gray hoodie and blue jeans. The suspect's vehicle is described as a white passenger car, very dirty, but believed to be a Crown Victoria or Ford Taurus.
