Posted: Updated:
LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

The Salvation Army is open as a warming station for the South Plains area until weather conditions improve.

The main dining room will be open for anyone to come inside from the cold to warm their body temperature with food and liquids.

Crews will also be going out for Survive the Night and will be distributing blankets, gloves, socks, scarves, caps, a warm meal, and hot cocoa to those in need.

Each person helped will also be invited back to the shelter.
