Hundreds of people have been calling the Lubbock's Vector Control for help because mosquitos are so bad right now.

The city tells us they're spraying as fast as they can to control the problem. This weekend, they'll spray University and move West. Then, they'll tackle outlying areas in the county.

Most of the mosquitos out there right now are huge and they have an awful sting, but the city says those mosquitos do not carry the West Nile Virus. Even so, other breeds out there do.
