Rantankerous [ran-tank'uhr-us] (adjective) - A combination of rant [to speak in a wild or extravagant manner] and cantankerous [contentious, disagreeable]. The word is the only suitable description for the epic arguments between Brian "What We Learned" Tynes and George "Hot Reads" Jones.

(RNN) - With George milking every ounce of California sunshine he can get out of his trip to Pasadena for the BCS national championship, Tom Ensey steps in for a pinch hit at-bat.

But that's not the only thing of note this week. Dennis Rodman is in North Korea celebrating Kim Jong-un's birthday and ignoring violent crimes, and the NFL playoffs continue with some interesting quarterback matchups.

Will Cam Newton lead the Panthers past San Francisco? Will the Chargers and their "voodoo" as Tom calls it, be able to take down "the old man" Peyton Manning?

We may not know, but we sure act like we do.
