A Lubbock man is in custody after an early morning robbery.
Lubbock police responded to a check subject call from a customer at the Stripes at 34th and Avenue Q around 3 a.m. Wednesday morning.
When officers arrived the subject, Isaac Rojo, 29, was attempting to rob the store.
Police say Rojo demanded money from the clerk while claiming to have a weapon.
When police searched Rojo they did not find a weapon but found cold medicine and candy from the store in his pockets.
Rojo was arrested and is facing theft and robbery charges.
