Emergency crews were called to a large grass fire near 34th and Upland, just southeast of Reese Center at around 1 p.m. Monday.
Lubbock fire officials say the fire spanned three acres and was brought under control in about an hour and a half.

No structures were damaged but investigators are still working to determine the cause of the fire.
