(WMC-TV) - Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. once said, "Life's most persistent and urgent question is: 'What are you doing for others?'"
Many people around the Mid-South will honor Dr. King's legacy on Monday by serving others and their communities.
We are compiling a list of "Day of Service" events happening around the Mid-South. Refer to the list below to see if there are any events you are able to participate in on Monday. What: FedEx volunteers will spend the day beautifying Memphis by engaging in community service projects at Memphis Academy of Health Sciences, Arkwings, and The Arc Mid-South.

Who: Local blood centers
What: Anyone who donates a pint of blood at a local blood center will receive four free admission passes to the National Civil Rights Museum.
