House destroyed by fire near Percy Priest Lake

NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

Ammunition made for an even more dangerous situation when fire crews attempted to save a house Friday evening in Antioch.

Firefighters were forced to evacuate the home, which is in the 4100 block of Park Trail Point, near Percy Priest Lake, when the heat from the fire began to ignite ammunition stored inside.

A short time later, the roof began to cave in.

Nobody was injured, including the family who was able to escape the fire.

The cause of the fire is unknown.

Further information has not been released.
